Our history
From the heart of Siena, Italy, two dear friends have embarked on this new journey: Guido, a long-time resident of Zurich, Switzerland, has always dreamed of taking his beloved Tuscany with him, while Davide, deeply rooted in Siena, carries on his local ties and his rich knowledge of Tuscan culinary traditions.
Together, they founded 'Merkanzia' with one mission: to promote and present the best traditional and high-quality local food and products from Tuscany. Their collaboration and 'friendship' aims to bring the picturesque landscapes of Siena, and its crops, to the vibrant city life of Zurich, offering an exclusive range of Tuscan treasures that celebrate both tradition and quality.
